Cannot Mark Location on the Map

Problem

During setup, you are unable to mark or set your location on the map in the Grungard app.

1. Enable Location Permissions

Go to your phone's settings and make sure the Grungard app has permission to access your location. On iOS, set it to "While Using the App". On Android, grant "Precise Location" access.

2. Enable GPS

Make sure your phone's GPS is turned on. The map needs GPS data to determine your position. Indoor locations with poor GPS signal may show inaccurate positions — try stepping outside briefly.

3. Internet Connection

The map requires an active internet connection to load tiles and geocoding data. Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or has mobile data enabled.

4. Manual Search

If the map cannot find your exact location, use the search bar to type your address or neighborhood name. Tap on the correct result to place the pin manually.
